J. MARLIN “JIM” RISSER
J. Marlin “Jim” Risser, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the Mennonite Home Communities.
He was born on June 14, 1931 in Elizabethtown, PA to the late Tillman S. and Anna (Heisey) Risser.
Jim started and operated his own business of installing overhead garage doors.
He held a patent on door seal that he developed.
In his younger years, Jim raced motorcycles.
Surviving are his sister Janet Nauman and her husband David of Lancaster, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Jack and two sisters Joyce and Jean.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, August 2, 2013 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. of Elizabethtown.
Burial will be in Risser Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
Visitation will be from 10am until 11am on Friday in the funeral home.
