Isabelle Marie (Petrucci) Yanni

Isabelle Marie (Petrucci) Yanni, 67, of Palmyra and formerly of Montgomery, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.  She was born Friday, June 20, 1947 in Pittsburgh to the late Armand and Elaine (Farina) Petrucci.  She was married to Jack R. Yanni on August 21, 1970.

Mrs. Yanni earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she met her husband, Jack and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communications from Bloomsburg University.  She retired as the Director of the Penn State Continuing Education Office in Williamsport, PA.  She loved quilting, crocheting and reading.  Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and family.

In addition to her husband of nearly 45 years, she will be lovingly missed by a daughter, Dr. Gina M. Brelsford and husband, Matt, of Hummelstown; two granddaughters, Elise and Camille Brelsford, of Hummelstown; a sister Paulette Churilla and husband Frank, of Cranberry Township, PA as well as Isabelle’s extended family and caring friends.  She was predeceased by a brother, Armand Petrucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 29, 2015 at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078 with Father James F. Podlesny as Celebrant.  Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the mass.  Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078.
