Isabelle M. (Ashenfelter) Lancaster

Isabelle M. (Ashenfelter) Lancaster, 94, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born Monday, October 3, 1921 in Elizabethtown, to the late Lewis Z. and Clara E. (Snavely) Ashenfelter.  She was married to Samuel T. Lancaster for over 54 years.  Mr. Lancaster died July 14, 1993.

Isabelle was a life member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown.

She will be lovingly missed by two daughters: Betty M. Lancaster, fiancé of Marlin E. John, of Elizabethtown and Margaret L. “Peg” Grimm, wife of James, of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren: John Lancaster, Terry Lancaster, husband of Alyson, Serena Grimm, wife of George Eby, IV, Stacey James Grimm, husband of Marsha; six great-grandchildren: Nick and Alaina Lancaster, Kathy Tattershall, George Eby, V, Austin and Braden Grimm, as well as Isabelle’s extended family and caring friends.

A private graveside service will be in Good’s Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown, PA at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
