Howard Miles Mccorkle

Howard Miles McCorkle, 95, of Hershey, went to be with his Lord on September 12, 2014. He was born September 1, 1919 in Hershey to the late Harvey B. and Ada E. (Smith) McCorkle. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred R. (Neidig) McCorkle; he is survived by his second wife, Erma E. (Good) McCorkle.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Howard retired from Hershey Foods after 44 years of faithful service. He was avid gardener and a beloved husband and father.
He is survived by 2 sons, Harvey McCorkle and wife Ann and David E. McCorkle and wife Shirley; a daughter, Jane Kibe and husband Joe; 7 grandchildren; and17 great-grandchildren. He is survived and predeceased by numerous siblings.
Friends and family are invited to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 for viewing on Thursday, September 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 19th at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. David V. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Palmyra Cemetery.
