HENRY J. MATHIOT

Henry J. Mathiot, 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was born on July 23, 1933 in Columbia, PA to the late William & Helen (Wetzel) Mathiot.

Henry was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Fred Barley VFW Post #5667 of Elizabethtown.

He was retired from Armstrong Industries.

Henry enjoyed going to Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways to watch local sprint car racing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Happy Pappy’s and spending time with his late wife Nancy.

He was the widower of Nancy L. Mathiot.

Surviving are his son Eric L. Mathiot and his fiancé Chrystal Wright of Elizabethtown, a brother Lee Mathiot and his wife Shirley of Columbia, and a sister Alma Reisinger of Columbia. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Carl, William Gertrude, Merle, Evelyn and Arlene.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
