Helen Virginia (Hoag) Miller

HELEN HOAG MILLER, age 90, died November 2, 2017 surrounded by her family. Helen was born August 12,1927 in Collingdale, PA to Clifford and Esther Hoag. She was married to Franklin C. ”Spike” Miller until his death in 1998.

The couple lived in Primos, PA for many years until they retired to Florida to enjoy golf in the sun. Helen was an active member of the community of Primos; as a Girl Scout leader, fundraiser for the elementary school, and manager of the snack-bar at the local pool.

Helen was a loving mother and is survived by her children George Miller of Springfield, Susan Graham of Havertown, Scott Miller of Leesburg, VA, Sharon Martin of Denver, Robert Miller of Albuquerque, and a sister, Janet Schreiber. She also has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will be gathering at Chester Rural Cemetery at 10 am on December 16, 2017 for the burial of both Helen and Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Masonic Villages, Office of Gift Planning, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N.
