Helen A. Lentz, 87, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at home with family by her side. She was born Sunday, November 11, 1934 to the late Robert and Amanda Firestine. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth I. Lentz whom she married in 1953.

Helen was a loving foster mother for over 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the family cabin. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son: Michael Lentz and wife Sherry; grandchildren, Brett Lentz and companion Jillian Sharp and Jennifer Hiester; great grandchildren, Josh and Eli Wenger, and Damien, Tannis, and Lorelei Lentz; and sisters, Miriam Loose and Loretta Weaver. She is predeceased by a daughter Jennifer Lentz, granddaughter, Aerolynn Lentz, two brothers, and three sisters.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to the American Cancer Society, www.amp.cancer.org.
