Heather Lynn Kurtz, 50, of Annville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the MS Hershey Medical Center following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was born Tuesday, November 20, 1973 in Port Jervis, NY to Linda (Parsons) Fuller and the late James Kurtz.  She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Michael J. Grumbine.

Heather was full of life and always ready for a good time.  Her quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by friends and customers at the Parkside, Corvette, and Annville VFW. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved her family beyond measure, especially her grandchildren.  She was always focused on caring for others, even during the last days of her battle.  Her stubbornness was second only to the love she had for others—she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by three children, Alexis Kurtz and fiancé Noah Bates of Jonestown, Bryan Grumbine of Annville, and Peyton Grumbine of Annville; three grandchildren, Teagan, Bailey, and Axel; two brothers, Robert Kurtz of Palmyra and Louis Harford and wife Sharon of Lebanon.  She was predeceased by a step-father, Thomas Fuller, and a sister-in-law, Roxanne Kurtz.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, August 12th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 AM until time of the service and again following the service during a period of food and fellowship in the Celebration Room at the funeral home.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the GoFundMe link below.
