Hazel B. (Mckinney) Reitzel

Hazel Reitzel, 95, of Elizabethtown, passed on January 31, 2024 at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Lancaster on Sunday, March 11, 1928 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Bleacher) McKinney. Hazel was married 63 years to William Bill Reitzel who passed in 2010. Hazel’s family was everything to her. She was always eager to be with her family or to tell you about her girls (Sharon and Kathy), grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always ready to go to do whatever, when her girls called her. Hazel was always the jokester, and you never quite knew what she was going to say, she was a very good agitator. Hazel especially enjoyed their place at “Happy go Lucky Camp Ground” in Rehoboth Delaware. Hazel enjoyed working in her flower beds and spending time with her two cats Jingles and Lily. Sharon and Kathy would like to thank the staff at Neffsville for their care of Hazel. Hazel will be deeply missed by her family, nieces, nephews, friends and the Neffsville staff. Hazel is survived by Sharon (Jeff Baublitz), Kathy (Barry Snodgrass) Barry Devonshire (Sally); grandchildren: Stacey (Scott) and Robert (Sedina); great grandchildren: Kenzie, Delaney, Kaleighna, Audrey, Jolee, Brian and Liam. She is preceded in death by her son Larry (Bumpy) Reitzel; grandson Barry Snodgrass Jr.; sisters Helen, Ruth and Grace; and brothers Paul and Raymond.

Interment will be at the discretion of the family.
