Harold K. Gutshall Sr.

Harold K. Gutshall Sr., 76, of Hershey, passed away peacefully at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born July 4, 1938 in Elizabethtown to the late Edward and Grace (Hockenberry) Gutshall. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nancy J. (Oberdorff ) Gutshall. Harold retired from M&M/Mars Inc., Elizabethtown where he worked for over 43 years. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and lived for his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly missed by a daughter, Debra Gutshall, of Chicago; three stepsons, Harvey Vallati and wife Brenda, of Port Trevorton, James Vallati, of Lebanon and Barry Vallati, of Sunbury; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and two sisters, Jane Bixler, of Elizabethtown and Dorothy Blough, and husband Paul, of Lancaster. He was predeceased by a son, Harold K. Gutshall, Jr.; four brothers, Charles, James, Emory and Benjamin Gutshall and a sister, Nancy Zern. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 7 PM at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Rev. John H. Kratz officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday from 6 PM until the time of the service. Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
