Harold A. Barrick, 92, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Harry A. and Myrtle (Fyler) Barrick. He was the husband of Mary A. (Wilcox) Barrick who died in 1994.

A US Army veteran of WWII, Harold retired in 1977 from the Department of Navy where he was employed as an equipment specialist. His masonic affiliations include: St. John’s Lodge #260, F&AM, Carlisle, a past grand tall cedar, Kena Temple, Fairfax, VA, Knights Templar and High 12 Club. He also served as an officer in the Goodwill Fire Co., Carlisle and the VFW. Harold played for many years in the Washington Redskins Marching band as well as several masonic and local area bands.

He is survived by two sons: Dale R. (Shirley) Barrick, Charlestown, WV and Ronald L. Barrick, Burke, VA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by a sister Evalyn Gill, and a brother Donald Barrick.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 1:00 PM. Viewing will be on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. A Masonic Service will be conducted immediately prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
