Gloria Foltz Stever

Gloria (Foltz) Stever, 78, of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Twin Oaks Nursing Health & Rehabilitation, Campbelltown. She was born Saturday, May 30, 1936 in Fontana to the late Charles Henry and Marie Elizabeth (Shearer) Foltz.

She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Hershey. Gloria retired from Central Dauphin School District’s Administration Office as Chairperson of School Nurses. Prior to working at Central Dauphin, she was employed as a school nurse for Harrisburg School District. Gloria was a member of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) as well as the Dauphin County Chapter, DCPASR. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by a son, Jay M. Steinruck, III and wife Martha G. of Hummelstown; a daughter, Susan S. (Steinruck) Ott and husband Alvin E. of Dickson, TN; 2 grandchildren, Kurt and Lauren Steinruck; a sister Dawn M. Olt and husband Charles D.; and 2 nieces, Pamela Malene and Kimberly Whittle.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12th at 10 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Rev. Dr. Bradley A. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Friends and family are invited for viewing on Thursday, September 11th from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 9 AM until time of the service
