Gloria Jean (Solomon) Bowersox

Gloria Jean (Solomon) Bowersox, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy. Born Thursday, September 13, 1934 to the late Elwood and Helen (Campbell) Solomon she is predeceased by her husband Harlan E. Bowersox.
She was a life long faithful Lutheran with a love for both cooking and gardening. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
Gloria is survived by 3 daughters, Margaret Wenger, Judy Myers, and Ruth Long, husband Robert; son, James Bowersox and wife Gail; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hall Solomon. She is predeceased by 3 brothers, Carl Donald and Richard, a grandson Andrew Myers, and great-grandchild Faith Long.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11AM at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Vicar Wicky Barns officiating. Viewing will be held from 10AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Mount Tunnel, Elizabethtown.
