GLENN “BEAMY” E. BEAMENDEFER

Glenn “Beamy” E. Beamenderfer, 71, formerly of Elizabethtown and Middletown, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Colonial Care Center, Lower Paxton Township.

He was born on May 14, 1942 in Lancaster to the late Richard & Helena (Strickler) Beamenderfer.

Beamy operated his own vending machine business.

He was a member of Grace Chapel, Elizabethtown, PA.

He was the widower of Alice E. Beamenderfer.

Surviving are seven children Glenda Thomas and her husband Mike of Piketown, Richard Beamenderfer and his wife Lora of Lewistown, Art Beamenderfer and his wife Marsha of Lancaster, George Beamenderfer and his wife Jackie of Harrisburg, Paul Beamenderfer of Harrisburg, Sherry Fitzkee of Hummelstown, Jacob Beamenderfer of Hummelstown, three brothers Leslie Beamenderfer of Lancaster, Ed Beamenderfer and his wife Kim of Elizabethtown, Jim Beamenderfer and his wife Janet of Elizabethtown, 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown. Burial will be in the Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy.

Viewings will be from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 and from 10am until 11am on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the funeral home.
