Gladys Marie (Laudig) Dennis

Gladys Marie (Laudig) Dennis, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center.  Born Sunday, November 24, 1929, in Ringtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Eva E. (Horne) Laudig.  She was married to Donald N. Dennis for over 72 years until his death on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Gladys was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family.  She had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.  She was a long-time member of the Hershey Free Church.

She is survived by four children: Donald N. Dennis, Jr., of Albuquerque, NM; Lynne G. Auker, of Elizabethtown; Ann L. Etnoyer, married to Greg, of Hummelstown and Kimberly S. Coover, married to Joseph, of Mount Joy.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a sister, Naomi Everett, of Zion Grove, PA, as well as Gladys’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Eugene W. Auker; seven siblings: Dorothy McCarthy, Walter Laudig, Harold Laudig, Catherine Laudig, Ruth Dennis, Paul Laudig and Ronald Laudig.

A Committal Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with Pastor Omar Zook officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gladys’s memory to Samaritan’s Purse, The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry or Hershey Free Church.
