Gesche Reuther

Gesche Reuther, 89, of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Columbia Cottage, Palmyra. She was born Friday, October 7, 1932 to the late Johannes and Ingeborg Maria (Christensen) Iwersen. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert H. Reuther, since July 16, 2008.
Gesche was a proud member of the Twig Auxiliary for the Dayton Children’s Hospital for over 30 years. She enjoyed games and crafting in her spare time. More than anything she was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Christine Chappell and husband Charlie and Albert I. Reuther; grandchildren; Benjamin, Anna, William, Elena Chappell, and Ellie, Maria, Charlotte Reuther. She is predeceased by her siblings; Gerda Iwersen, Ine Schaaff, and Helga Pilz.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
