George Eugene "Gene" Way
February 19, 1934 — December 9, 2013
George Eugene “Gene” Way, 79, of Rheems, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at home. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late George F. and Dorothy M. (Zell) Way. He was the husband of Nancy R. (Musser) Way of Rheems. They were married 57 years in August.
Gene is survived by four children: Robert E. Way, Denver; Cindy, wife of Terry Worthington, Elizabethtown; James A. Way, husband of Ethel, Maytown and Judy A., wife of Mark Stock, Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, and two brothers: Jay R. Way, husband of Linda, Columbia and Larry L. Way, husband of Alice, Lancaster.
Services and Military Honors will be held at Indaintown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
