George H. Fach III, 77, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late George H. Fach Jr. and Mary A. (Templin). George was the loving husband of Sharon L. (Kreider) Fach for 31 years.

George grew up in Middletown and lived his whole life here. He was a graduate of Middletown High School class of 1965. George retired from AMP/TYCO after 43 years of service.

He was an avid, lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. George really enjoyed the fantasy baseball league with his friends. His passion for sports also shined as he was a part of the “Faithful Trio”, a group of friends who went to all the sporting events of the Middletown Blue Raiders.

He loved traveling with Sharon, going camping and taking cruises. George loved cars, especially his Shelby Mustang. In the 1990’s he sponsored a race car that his father and son would help him work on, which was raced in Grantville. Growing up, George’s family had a cabin, where he often enjoyed hunting. George really enjoyed listening to music, especially the 50’s and doowop.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by his son, George H. Fach IV and wife, Jenene of Ocean City, MD; step-son, Jaimison M. Felczak and companion, April Heisey of Middletown; sister, Susan Gochnaur of Lititz; and nieces, Nicole Gochnaur of Manheim, and Laura Brown of Lititz.

On December 9th 2024 at the Middletown American Legion 137 High St., there will be visitation with the family from 11AM-12PM followed by a Celebration of Life service. After the service, all are invited for fellowship and refreshments.
