Gary Eugene Fasnacht

Gary Eugene Fasnacht, 68, of Campbelltown, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.  He was born Sunday, December 8, 1946 in Lebanon to the late Freeland and Pearl (Bucks) Fasnacht.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years Gayle (Shoop) Fasnacht.

He graduated from Hershey High School, worked for Fruehauf for over 25 years, and most recently for MWI Veterinary Supply.  He was an auctioneer and operated Dutch Village Auction for 16 years.  He attended Campbelltown UMC, was a member of Middletown Moose 410, was a social member of the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company, and was an avid Hershey Bears fan.  He was full of life, always ready with a smile and fun, witty personality.  Beyond anything, he loved his family and adored his grandsons.

He is survived by a daughter, Gretchen Buchanan and husband Dennis of Palmyra; a son, Gregg Fasnacht and wife Brandi of Palmyra; two grandsons, TJ and Trevor Fasnacht of Palmyra; four siblings, Joan Phillippy and husband Clair, Frank Fasnacht and wife Jeanne, Terry Fasnacht and wife Arline, and Janice Welden and husband Dave.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Connie Fasnacht and Priscilla Richute.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 25th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Monday, August 24th from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
