Garry M. Fretz

Garry M. Fretz, 64, of Palmyra, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Marcus and Beverly Jean (Foster) Fretz.
Garry studied Distributive Education at Dauphin County Technical School, graduating in 1978. In his younger years he enjoyed dirt track racing. He was happiest when he was at his cabin in Potter County hunting deer. Garry was also an active volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 426.
He is survived by his brother, Richard Fretz & wife Susan of Harrisburg, brother-in-law, Randy Wise, and three nieces, Angela Fretz, Barbara Fretz, and Melanie Philip. He was predeceased by his sister, Robin Wise and nephew Jacob Wise.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, August 18 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Dale Miller, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of the service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
