Galvin Paniagua

Galvin Paniagua, 20, of Hershey died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was the son of Carlos and Soveyda (Lora Santiago) Paniagua.

Galvin was a 2021 graduate of Hershey High School. He was a talented athlete who excelled in football, baseball, basketball, and track. He went on to attend West Chester University and was considering majoring in sports training. Galvin was driven and wanted to be the best at everything he did.

His family and friends would describe him as a remarkable, kind, and gentle young man. He was someone to look up to, who always cared for others. He will be lovingly remembered as a good friend, nephew, and grandkid, and an amazing son.

In addition to his parents, Galvin is survived by two siblings, Hewry and Gian Carlos Paniagua, paternal grandparents, Andrés Paniagua and Leonides Brito, maternal grandmother, Milagros Santiago, and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who he loved like family. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Juan Lora.

A viewing will be held from 4-6PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 5, at Hershey Cemetery.
