Freda L. Hickman

Freda L. (Timmerman) Hickman, 90, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born Monday, April 18, 1932 to the late Richard A. and Ethel May (Scott) Timmerman. She is predeceased by her husband, Emmett E. Hickman.
Freda was an avid reader and amazing cook. In her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles and word finds. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son: John Stewart and wife Patricia; daughters, Evelyn "Lyn" L. Cain and husband Ray, and Nancy S. Lane and husband Steve; grandchildren, Crystal Sacca, Tom Romich, Colby Cole, Andrew Cole, and Donald Cole; 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her children; Emmett E. Hichman, Jr., Sharon K. Romich, Freda May Hickman; grandchildren, Jesse Michael Cole, and Patricia "Ponte" Louise Turner; brothers, Floyd B. Timmerman, Chester Timmerman, Clyde Timmerman, Harold Timmerman and Jarold L. Timmerman; sisters, Evelyn Timmerman, Betty Timmerman, Velma M. Workman and Violet VanCleave.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Hillsdale Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
