Faye R. Love-Kretz, 89, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Traditions of Hershey. She was born on October 7, 1935 to the late Ralph and Arlene (McCorkel) Heisey. She is predeceased by her loving husband, J. Robert Kretz.

Faye was one of the first women to hold top executive positions at both Tressler Lutheran Services and PHEAA. She had an accomplished decades long career and forged the way for women in the workforce, all while serving others in her community.

Faye was an avid traveler and loved to go camping with the G.I. Gypsies. She enjoyed live music, dancing, playing piano, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Shreiner; son Robert B. Love; sister in-law, Rachel Heisey; grandchildren, April Ellis and husband James, Marsha Nelson and husband Michael, and Robert Love; and great-grandchildren, Makena and Hydrea Ellis. She is predeceased by her brothers, Lee and Carl Heisey, and son, Scott A. Love.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11 AM at the Rothermel- Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Lebanon Veteran Affairs Office, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
