Fay H. (Hafley) Carmitchel

Fay H. Carmitchel, 90, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown where she resided since 2007. Born December 8, 1923 in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late John Leroy and Ruth (Coble) Hafley. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Carmitchel who died in 2012. Fay was retired from the Hartford Insurance Group in Lancaster.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Gutshall of Elizabethtown, and local nephews: John Barnes, Robert Barnes, Timothy Gutshall and Mark Gutshall. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Barnes and a nephew, William Barnes.
Fay requested a private graveside service at Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
