Evelyn J. (Smith) Strohm

Evelyn J. Strohm, 91, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Palmyra Senior Living. Born Wednesday, April 15, 1931 in Lickdale, she was the daughter of Hibshman E. and Helen R. (Stickler) Smith. She was married 53 years to James R. Strohm who passed away July 9, 2003.
Evelyn was retired from Seltzer’s Bologna. Her main focus in life was her family.
Surviving are five children: Barbara Lentz, Donna Lighty and husband Larry, James Strohm, and Sherri Harris all of Palmyra; and Steven Strohm and wife Michelle of Lancaster. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Evelyn was the last of her siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
