Eugene “Gene” D. Carr, 68, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Hatboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He spent the last 23 years confined to a wheelchair which he could be seen wheeling about on the sidewalks of Elizabethtown.
He is survived by his older sister, Mary Morton, of Elizabethtown; a brother, Chuck Carr, of Scottsdale, AZ; younger sisters Larene Cassel of Lansdale, PA and Arlene Daniels of Mays Landing, NJ as well as numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with full military honors. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service.
