Esther “Dolly” (Jamison) Gordon, 95, formerly of Campbelltown, Hanoverdale, and Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025. She was born on October 12, 1929 to the late Charles Elmer and Emma Florence (Eckert) Jamison. She is predeceased by her husband, John D. Gordon.

Dolly is retired from Pickel’s Pharmacy, Palmyra and was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra. In her spare time, she enjoyed counted cross stitching, reading, and group sewing. She was also a musician, singing and playing both the piano and organ. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Edward Alan Gordon of Annville and Leonard Eugene Gordon and wife Bonnie of TN; grandchildren, Amanda Daniels and husband Arthur, Joshua Gordon and companion Ashley, John D. Gordon, II and wife Cathy, and Amy Jo Gordon; and great grandchildren, Makenzie Gordon, Tre Daniels, Theo Daniels, Jett Gordon. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Anna M. Fake, Florence Kapp, and Charles “Bud”, John, and James Jamison, and daughter-in-law Barbara Gordon.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11 AM at the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill Rd., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
