Esther J. (Inch) Blaine

Esther Jane (Inch) Blaine, 83, of Oberlin, passed away to be with her Lord, peacefully with family by her side on Monday, September 7, 2015 in Golden Living West Shore, Camp Hill.  She was born Wednesday, February 24, 1932 in Mount Pleasant Mills to the late William Walter and Edna Emma (Strawser) Inch.

Esther was employed by ACME Markets as a meat wrapper then later for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the housekeeping department.  She was a faithful member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God and active in Club Meridians. She was also a member of Union Hall in Steelton.  Esther loved to travel, camp, and take vacations with her family.  She was an avid fan of country music and enjoyed square dancing.  She was an active woman, but most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Ford and husband Paul and Sherry Myers and husband John; a son, Robert T. Blaine, Jr. and wife Peggy; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Ford, Cindy Schwanger, Tammy Miller, Patty Thomas, Robert T. Blaine, III, John Troup, Nicole Moore, John Myers, Angela Myers, and Michelle Stoneroad; 24 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Ann Metzger; a grandson, Steven Ford; a great-grandson, Kyle Ford; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at 11 AM at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 190 Fulling Mill Rd., Middletown 17057 with Rev. John Lanza officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Monday, September 14th from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM till the time of the service both at the church.  Burial will follow the services in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
