Ernest D. Retherford

Ernest Diemler Retherford, 79, entered into heaven on July 22, 2012 at his home in Middletown. Born in Bainbridge June 12, 1933, he was the son of the late Samuel Horst and Anna Mae (Diemler) Retherford. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Bernice Shepler Retherford.
Ernest was a self-employed farmer.
He is also survived by a daughter Debra Kay, wife of Daniel Lancaster, Bainbridge; a son Ernest of Middletown; five grandchildren: Dorinda, Danielle, Daniel, Jr., Kaitlyn and Cahlen; six great grandchildren: Bailey, Harley, Shyann, Huntley, Callie and Erma; Five brothers: George, Sr. and Albert of Bainbridge; Troy and Robert of Elizabethtown and Allen of Carlisle; three sisters: Mildred of Sacramento, PA, Arlene of Bainbridge and Margie of Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by twp brothers Earl, Sr. and Samuel, Jr.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Hillsdale Cemetery (formerly Geyers Church Cemetery) at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ernie’s memory to Falmouth United Methodist Church, PO Box 405, Bainbridge, PA 17502.
