Erma May Forry

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, Erma Forry went to her Heavenly Father, husband and family members who predeceased her always looked forward to see Eve and Abraham’s wife, Sarah and all the apostles. Erma was the wife of the late Harrison Forry, and daughter of the late Chester and Sarah Landis.

She is survived by her children, Melanie Miller (Timothy), Marcia Garber (John), and Timothy Forry; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Jane Martin (Kenneth), Chester G. Landis (Gloria Jean), Frank Landis (Diana), Mildred Max (John), Miriam Shank (Larry), Catherine Zook (Donald), Marian Haldeman (Eugene Jr.), and Carol Hoerner (Kenneth). She is predeceased by sister Elsie Louise Landis, along with her husband and parents.

Erma was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School, and Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. She spent her life living for Christ, her family, and serving others. Erma taught Sunday school in her younger years and served as a deacon. She wanted everyone to know Jesus and His love, using clown ministry. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church and lifetime alumnae member of LGH. Erma was loved by many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will follow in Shenks Community Cemetery, Elizabethtown, PA. Family and friends are invited to view from 11AM until the time of service.
