Elvin Ray Aldinger
February 3, 1934 — December 23, 2022
E. Ray Aldinger was born in Conewago Township February 3, 1934 to Ezra and Esther (Koser) Aldinger.
He spent his working career as a farmer for the Milton Hershey School. During retirement he was an avid gardener and worked in his basement workshop making bird houses and other crafts to share with others. Ray also worked part time for many years for Koser Building Supply.
Ray is survived by his children, Kevin Aldinger and wife Susan, Tina Jenkins and husband Sam, sisters, Jeanette Kreider and Fanny Arndt and brother, Glenn Aldinger (Peggy) and by grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by sons Ryan Aldinger, Shawn Aldinger, and twins Mark and Ray Aldinger, and by brothers Harold Aldinger (Ruth), Galen Aldinger (Carol) and Roger Swisher (Elizabeth)
Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Elizabethtown Grace Brethren Church, 305 Anchor Rd. Elizabethtown, PA 17022, Viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. with service to take place at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Conewago Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ray’s memory to Elizabethtown Grace Brethren Church.
