Elsie Irene (Kline) Klopp

Elsie Irene (Kline) Klopp, 90, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care Mt. Joy. She was born in N. Annville Township on Thursday, February 1, 1923 to the late Albert D. and Lillian (Hein) Kline. She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald R. Klopp in 1987.
She was a faithful member of Fontana Christian Fellowship, a loyal and giving volunteer at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home and the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, and enjoyed keeping her hands busy by crafting. Most importantly Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by 2 children, Donna M. Stanilla and husband Peter and Richard D. Klopp and wife Gail; 5 grandchildren, Michael A. Stanilla and wife Denise, Brian P. Stanilla and companion Stephanie, Kathleen R. Nolt and husband Duane, Gregory D. Klopp and wife Danielle, and Stephen R. Klopp and wife Jacalynne; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving of her immediate family.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 18th at 11 AM at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, DiMatteo Worship Center, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Brian Farling officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra has been entrusted with the arrangements.
