Elizabeth “Betty” (Geney) Wilson, 94, of Palmyra, passed away at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra, on Monday, June 24, 2013. She was born Thursday, June 5, 1919 to the late Stephen and Julia (Neidert) Geney. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert J. Wilson in 2002.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Townsend; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by 4 sisters and a brother.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 8th at noon at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Ray Lightcap officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 11 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Lebanon Valley Youth for Christ, 378 N. 10th St., Lebanon 17046 or Lebanon Valley Brethren Home Good Samaritan Fund, 1200 Grubb Rd., Palmyra.
