Elizabeth A. (Albach) Weamer

Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Albach) Weamer, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born Friday, August 21, 1925 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Elsa (Hartman) Albach.  She was married to Andrew C. Weamer for over 30 years until his death in 1981.

Betty was an avid reader and never too far from a good read.  She enjoyed listening to opera and loved visiting with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: H. Lynn Reiner, married to Victor, of Albany, NY and Elsa A. Bennett, married to Greg, of Chesterfield, VA.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Bruce Christman, of Palm Harbor, FL, as well as Elizabeth’s extended family and caring friends.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine L. Christman.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, New York.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
