Elisabeth Lettecci, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was born January 17, 1928 to the late Franz and Martha (Rudolstadt) Ebert. She is predeceased by her husband since June 5, 2001, Rudolf R. Lettecci, Sr.
Elisabeth was born in Bohemia, Austria, and in her younger years endured hardships beyond the imagination of most, including living as a refugee from Poland. Her life was shaped by resilience, determination, and an unbreakable will. She met the love of her life while he was serving in the military, and together they built a home grounded in devotion and family.
A true homemaker, Elisabeth showed her love through tireless care cooking every meal from scratch and moving seamlessly from breakfast to preparing lunch, never slowing down. She was the kind of grandmother who slipped you a $20 when your parents weren’t looking, a quiet act of love that said everything. Known for her stubborn German spirit, she fought fiercely until the very end, spending more than two years under hospice care with unwavering resolve. Elisabeth also loved to gamble, always hopeful and smiling at the chance of good luck. Those who knew her are invited to buy a scratch ticket in her memory and if you win, she’d say she told you so.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Khrista Dechert and husband Joel, Brandy Lannon and husband Joseph; great grandchildren, Mason Dechert and wife Rachael, Logan Dechert, Heath Dinunzio and Liam Lannon; great-great granddaughter, Olivia Stumpf; good friend, Debbie O’Brien; and many friends from Simi Valley, CA. In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by her two children, Marlissa Boyd and Rudolf R. Lettecci, Jr., son-in-law, Eugene Boyd, and six siblings.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.FinkenbinderFamily.com
