E. Jane (Green) Wise

E. Jane Wise, 83, formerly of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born Friday, July 17, 1936, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Emilie (Linnenbrogger) Green.  She was married to Ray (Bud) F. Wise for 43 years until his death on December 25th 2001.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, bingo, and helping others. She was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Palmyra and enjoyed the hymns.

She is survived by three children: Susan L. Friday, married to Gerry, of King, NC; Roy F. Wise, married to Susan, of Palmyra and Scott A. Wise, married to Annette, of Palmyra.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild as well as Jane’s extended family and caring friends. Also surviving out of 11 siblings, is her brother, Leonard Green, of Palmyra.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at First Evangelical Congregational Church, 55 W Main Street, Palmyra, PA  17078, with Reverend Charles A. Walker officiating.  A viewing will be held at the church from 9 AM until the time of the service on Thursday.  Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078, 717-838-9211.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jane’s honor to First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra or Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
