Edythe M. Brinkman

Edythe M. (Laing) Brinkman, 88, of Elizabethtown died on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Masonic Village. Born in Elizabeth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Clara M. (Wallace) Laing. She was widowed by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas “Jeff” Brinkman, in August of 2000.

Edythe was a homemaker until the last of her children started school and then she worked outside the home. In 1971 the family moved to Elizabethtown and she joined her husband as co-owner of E-town Auto Parts where she worked for many years. She was a member of Christ UCC in Elizabethtown, and enjoyed going to Flower Club.

She is survived by three children: Jeffrey W. Brinkman (Patricia), Ralph L. Brinkman, and Carla J. Rissmiller (Barry), all of Elizabethtown, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her four siblings.

Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
