Edward W. Warburton, 88, passed into the arms of his Lord on February 15, 2026. He was the son of the late John and Doris Warburton of Sherrill, New York.

Edward graduated from VVS High School, then served with the U.S. Navy as a meteorological specialist. He attended Alfred State University, then married his high school sweetheart, Ruth Fischer in January of 1965.

Edward worked as a greenhouse grower for Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania for 18 years, and as a greenhouse manager at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. In 1985 he started a greenhouse business in Elizabethtown with his sons.

Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, who passed in 2020. He is survived by his sons, John and Paul (Brenda) of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Graham and Gabriel; two sisters, Phyllis Tucker of Penn Yan, NY, and Mary Tarry of Sherrill, NY.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11AM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 75 E. High St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
