Edna (Mixell) Frederick, 90, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017 at her home. She was born Sunday, August 15, 1926 in Newville to the late Jacob and Cora (Peckard) Mixell. She is survived by her loving husband Lawren D. Frederick.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen L. Finkenbinder and husband Clair, Jr.; a son, Randie S. Smith and wife Joyce; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna L. Whitty; a great granddaughter, Cara M. Finkenbinder; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
