EDNA J. BAILEY
Edna J. Bailey, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Saturday, February 21, 1931 in Upper Middletown, Fayette County, PA to the late Guy & Mary (Hart) Goodwin.
She was a graduate of Uniontown High School.
Edna was the co-owner, with her husband Charles, of Lakeview Country Estates; she was also a licensed real estate broker having worked for Olweiler Real Estate Company and Century 21.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Church, Elizabethtown, enjoyed doing oil painting, charcoal drawing and antiques.
Edna above all else loved being a mother; she cherished her family as her greatest gift.
Surviving are her husband Charles G. Bailey, a daughter Tonya J. Bailey and her companion Doyle Wolgemuth of Elizabethtown, three sons Douglas C. Bailey and his wife Melissa of Lancaster, Michael J. Bailey of Elizabethtown, Craig E. Bailey and his wife Sherri of Elizabethtown, a sister Wanda Williams of Englewood, Ohio, a brother Ralph Goodwin of Middletown, eight grandchildren Eric J. Bailey and his wife Heather, Megan L. Bailey and her fiancé Eric Zalek, Ryan C. Bailey, Vanessa J. Bailey and her fiancé Taylor Shaak, Nicholas Wolgemuth, Caryn E. Bailey, Kendra R. Bailey, Jordan H. Bailey and a great grandson Liam A. Shaak.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Mount Calvary Church, 625 Holly St. Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will be in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
Viewings will be from 3pm until 5pm on Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street Elizabethtown, PA 17022 and from 10am until 11am on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Mount Calvary Church.
