Earl J. “Jim” Bryan, 77, of Bainbridge, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Sunday, December 25, 1938, he was the son of the late Earl and Daisy (Bair) Bryan. He was married 57 years to Joan (Koser) Bryan also of Bainbridge.

Jim was a graduate of both Bainbridge and Elizabethtown High Schools. He was retired from AMP, Inc., Mount Joy, where he was employed as a Quality Engineer. He was an avid duck hunter and, enjoyed fly tying and fly fishing. Jim was a member of Word of Life Chapel in Bainbridge.

In addition to his wife Joan, Jim is survived by a daughter Jamie L. Myers and her husband Thomas of Mifflinburg; a son Patrick J. Bryan and his wife Melissa of Manheim; six  grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister Gwen Geesey and her husband Ken of Mexico, PA and a brother Rodney Bryan married to Vicki of Bainbridge.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Private family interment will take place in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
