Earl J. Gibson, Sr.

Earl J. Gibson, Sr., 90, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home. He was born Sunday, September 10, 1933 to the late Clarence and Ressie (Lawhorn) Gibson. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Winifred L. (Rhoads) Gibson.
Earl was a member of the Lebanon Optimist Club, and a proud union worker for the International Operating Engineers Local 542. He enjoyed watching the Flyers and traveling to Florida. More than anything he was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his son: Earl Gibson, Jr. and wife Jill; grandchildren; Devin, Quinn, Rachel, Alexa, Jensen, and Cara; brother, Willard “Dick” Gibson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he is predeceased by 15 siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11 AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.
