Dr. Richard C. Hann, Jr., 61, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. He was born on Monday, February 4, 1963, to Richard C. Hann, Sr. and the late Nancy Elise (Frey) Hann.
Rich graduated from Hershey High School, Penn State University, and Mississippi State University. He was passionate about animals and dedicated 34 years serving as a veterinarian, working with veterinary clinics in Colonial Park, Silver Springs, Pine Grove, and Palmyra. He was an avid fan of the Hershey Bears hockey team and Penn State football team. Rich also played trombone in the Penn State Blue Band.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Karen Petrouskie and husband, Glenn and Sue Orban and husband, Mike; along with many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
