Dr. Daemon C. Strickler DC, 68, of Palmyra, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 in his home.  He was born, the youngest of 10 children, on Thursday, February 14, 1946 in Derry Township to the late C. Ray and Ruth (Smith) Strickler.  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Carol N. (Williams) Strickler.

Dr. Strickler was a pioneer of Chiropractic in the Lebanon Valley.  He was the proprietor of Strickler Chiropractic in Palmyra and dedicated his life to advocating health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.  He was an inspiration to his family, inspiring 7 family members to enter the field of Chiropractic.  He was an avid gardener and recently served on the committee for his 50th Class Reunion at Hershey High School.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Janna Arnold and husband Greg, Keira Meyer and husband Andy, and Deirdra Barton; a son, Giles Strickler and wife Nívea Berríos; 3 step-daughters, Lisa, Angela, and Nanette DiNunzio; 9 grandchildren; and 6 siblings, Daniel, Darryl, and Darius Strickler and Dawn Kettering, Danae Simonski, and Darlene Evans.  He was predeceased by 3 siblings, David and Dale Strickler and Daisy Klinedinst.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.
