Douglas Shertzer, Jr., 60, of Jefferson, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. He was born February 19, 1966, to the late Douglas Shertzer, Sr. and Donna M. (Updegrave) Shertzer.
He was an avid video gamer who loved to watch Nascar. He had a green thumb and more than anything enjoyed his grandkids. Above all he was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Tahlia Shertzer and companion Mark Sweigart, Tabatha and Tasha Shertzer; grandchildren, Loralei, Brian, Bryler, Lucien, Anabelle, and Bricia; sister, Deanna Morder and husband Curtis; niece and nephew, Tyler and Taylor.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
