Dorothy Anna “Dolly” (Long) Washinger, 80, of Palmyra, formerly of Steelton passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Campbelltown. She was born Monday, October 2, 1933 in Steelton to the late Joseph Douglass and Dorothea Lucetta (Johnson) Long. She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard Washinger.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacy A. Wolfgang and husband Brian L.; a son, Scott D. Washinger and wife Sarah C.; 6 grandchildren, Heather and Tanner Wolfgang and Seth, Rebecca, Brandon, and Jenna Washinger.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 2 at 11 AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, where Dorothy was a faithful member, 1010 Orchard Drive, Steelton 17113 with Reverend Dr. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 AM until time of the service.
