She graduated Valedictorian from South Lebanon Township High School in 1947 and was owner and property manager for rental units and the Cadillac Motel in Palmyra. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 402, Tall Cedar Grandettes, and the Lebanon Women’s Club. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, movies, traveling, trips to the beach with her family, and cheering on PSU, Phillies and Eagles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially watching and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their activities and sporting events.
She is survived by a son, Chuck E. Starner and wife Barbara of Annville; three daughters, Stephanie L. Laudermilch and husband Dennis of Lebanon, Suzanne E. Frazier and husband Edward of Palmyra, and Shirley A. Speraw and husband Robert of Palmyra; twelve grandchildren, Kerry, Travis, and Jordan Starner, Brandon and Brett Laudermilch, Megan and Ian Frazier, Russell III, Ryan, and Zachary Hollenbach, Mindy and Brandon Speraw; seven great grandchildren and one to be born any day; two brothers, Nathan Lineaweaver and wife Josephine, and Harold Lineaweaver and wife Doris; a sister, Lucille Behney. She was predeceased by four brothers, David, Mahlon, Wilson who died in WWII, and James Lineaweaver; a brother-in-law, Chester Behney.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19th at 11 AM at Bethany United Methodist Church, 20 East Cherry Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor John Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Sunday, May 18th from 5 to 7 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra and on Monday from 10 AM until time of service at the church.
