Dorothy R. (Costlow) Risbon

Dorothy Rita (Costlow) Risbon, 93, of Middletown, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2015 in the Middletown Home.  She was born November 4, 1921 in Johnstown to the late Earl Vincent and Anna Mary (Lidwell) Costlow.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert M. Risbon, I.

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.  She enjoyed talking to people on the CB radio.  Most importantly she was a skilled homemaker and a loving family woman.

She is survived by a son, Robert M. Risbon, II and wife Rebecca of Altoona, 7 grandchildren, Barbara, Judy, Jackie, Betty Lou, Robert, III, Dannel, and Scott; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Ann Ondriezek; a grandson Kenneth; and 4 brothers, Don, Ken, Ralph, and Vince Costlow.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 9th at 11 AM at St. Peters Historic Catholic Church, 1 St. Peters Place, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Very Reverend Steven W. Fauser V.F. as Celebrant.  Burial will be in Johnstown at the convenience of the family.  Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown has been entrusted with the arrangements.
