Dorothy M. (Ludwig) Heisey

Dorothy M. Heisey, 93, of Lancaster, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Brethren Village. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Rolandis S. and May G. (Mohler) Ludwig. She was married 67 years to John C. Heisey, Sr., who died in 2009.
Dorothy was a member of the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren. She had been employed as an accountant for the former David Martin Store in Elizabethtown and also worked as a secretary for the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by a son Dr. John C. Heisey, Jr. married to Dr. Linda Heisey, Pottstown; two grandchildren: Matt J. (Jill) Heisey and Adrienne M. Heisey; four great grandchildren: Emily P., Kaitlyn M., Kayla B. and Bailey E. Heisey; and a sister Betty J. Gast.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 in the Chapel at Brethren Village at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17606.
