Doris A. Landis

Doris A. Landis, 92, formerly of Elizabethtown, died June 28, 2026 at Amoroso Wellness in York. Born April 9, 1934 in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Paul B. and Helen S. (Fishburn) Aldinger. She was widowed by her loving husband, Benjamin F. Landis.

Doris was a devoted member of Christ UCC in Elizabethtown. She found joy in expressing her creativity throughout her life. She loved singing and playing the guitar, sharing music with those around her. Her artistic talents extended to crafting, ceramics, and making handmade dolls. She also had a fondness for collecting rooster décor, which brought warmth and personality to her home.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Kari Coble and husband Jonathan, Zachary Landis, Benjamin Landis and wife Annie, great grandchildren, Luke, Lane, and Elizabeth, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, Carolyn Thome and Robert J. Landis, and siblings, Josephine, Frances, Mary, Marjorie, Amanda, Henry, Benjamin, and Edwin.

A Committal Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville, PA 17003. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
